Yeah nothing like standing on the side of the "Proctor Hill" on a -15 degree day watching a trio of DM&IR SD-9's pulling a string of ore empties up the hill.

I know the local NS "bottle" train here gives us seconds, literally, of warmth as it passes by if we are close enough to the track.
Have to catch it on the slow segment of the route, like at Dolton.

The hotel was one of CG's creations. I think. I'm not at home right now so can't check.
The textures have been completely redone with night textures added.
The route is the VSL_1 from the library here. It's been reworked a little.
It started out as a route to test shapes and terrtex painting, among other things, because it loaded quickly. I deleted everything but the track so I could use my own shapes, textures and .ref file. Now it's turned into it's own little world that also has the occasional train running through it.
There is a thread over at ET that has a little more info. Here.
It's basically the model railroad I never had the time, space or money for.

Silly question, but - the garbage cans, are they part of the Hotel shape or their own shape? I have been looking for cans like that for some time.

    Thanks!
