Extra information: The area around the union station on west Broadway has been wiped
clean and the only tracks in the area are the PRR connector which
was used by the South Wind. Further south, the K&IT line is in place
which was used by Monon trains as a way to reach Union Station. And
further south is the Southern (NS) line which crosses the L&N. The
Paducah & Louisville offices are at the south end of the yard on the
west side. On the west side of this yard there are large grain elevators.
It would be necessary to enlarge the area of the route to the east but
then one could add the General Electric Appliance Park. A Ford
assembly plant is at the south side of the airport, east of Osbourne
yard.

Fixed some errors, uploaded a version 2
Colleagues,
Any of you that have downloaded the Louisville Terminal should discard it and
download a version 2 which I just uploaded an hour or so ago. I guess it will
appear on Monday.
The error:
We all know that you cannot have turnout points adjoining each other. There
has to be something between them, but how much something?
Well, I started to use this route for the north end of my next concoction which
is planned to be the MainStem, 1st & 2nd Sub. of the L&N, i.e. Louisville to
Nashville. Laid main track as far as Shepherdsville, about 15 miles and so at
that point I thought it best to run an activity to seek out any issues - I found
several.
Mtracks crossovers have a end piece that fills in the gap opposite the turnout
on each track and also adds a small piece on the end of the points. That
ought to be enough to satisfy the no-no point to point issue, right --- well NO.
If you have another turnout there, or another crossover, the distance between
the points is less than 1 meter, looks to be about 0.3 meters. So I could create
a path and it would show green, but when I saved it, I would get a "broken
path error". In all but one instance I was able to use the same crossovers and
just add space between them. 2m & 3m in two places, and 5m in the rest. In
one instance I changed the crossover to pnt7.5d turnouts from X-tracks to
reduce the length.
I do not believe this situation exists in the Nashville Terminal which is less
compact that the Louisville Terminal, but if it does, the solution is to add a
little space.
