    Cool Bergen Line

    Colleagues,

As it happened, I had just seen a "Mighty Trains" video on the Smithsonian Channel
covering the Bergen line and so I ran it for several minutes. Very good job friends
in Europe, very good job. I wish there were more routes like this available. I do US
routes but in a way, once you have done a US route, you have done any US route.
The only issue I saw was that in curves, the catenary frequently bends between
catenary supports. The catenary should be straight between supports so you may
want o adjust the position of supports or add some.

Simon Van de Laak of Holland also came out with a program several years ago
called "catmaster" which is in the library of this website. You might want to look
at it. He provides very good instructions which must be followed to the letter so
it does take some "learning" to use it.
