Which European- Route should I start with

Up to now I have exclusively run North American content, now after seeing some amazing European routes, I want to add one. I'd like a route that is finished, not too buggy, comes with well made rolling stock, and some activities...would like both freight and passenger - if possible. Any suggestions where to start? Payware is okay. If there are routes that are made with OR in mind --- that would be great.

You'll lose yourself for days-weeks-months, and learn a few words of Hungarian at the same time!

I highly recommend the Südostbahn, which can be found at (https://the-train.de/downloads/entry...rial-aufgaben/). It's a large network of trackage in the greater Luzern area in Switzerland, set in the 1980s with the route, rolling stock, and activities included. Something that has always limited my interest in MSTS/OR European content is the lack of safety systems, but as fair as I know this route is set before the ZUB train protection system was installed.

Some of the rolling stock isn't great, but the Re4/4 I and associated coaches are gorgeous. The route scenery is also wonderful, with beautiful distant scenery and plenty of custom assets. The route sounds are great as well - hearing the announcement chimes bring me back to my time studying in Zürich.

Keeping with the Swiss theme, the Bernina Line is also wonderful (https://rhb-trainsim.com). This is one of the RhB's narrow gauge lines through the Alps, crossing from Switzerland into Italy. Once again, it comes with the route, rolling stock, and activities.

Heading east, there are two massive routes from Poland (https://the-train.de/downloads/entry...en-allenstein/) and (https://the-train.de/downloads/entry...karpacie-e-30/). Both of these routes make ample use of the timetable mode and really show the benefits of the feature.

Once I'm back on my main PC, I can post some pictures of the routes.

If you can track down the Deva-Tîrgu Jiu route (set in Transilvania, in central România), it is a beautiful route. But I'm not sure where, if anywhere, it's hosted now, since the host site has moved several times

Any of the Making Tracks UK routes.They are all good.(If you can find them on ebay or Amazon)

I don`t know about any of the other browsers but Google Chrome has a translate function which makes going to any of the non English speaking sites a lot easier.

Oh my yes, of course, my provincial american popping out. I searched through my old msts stuff and found these three cd's I had purchased from UK TrainSim when I first joined this forum >>> Scottish Central Plus, MidEast Plus, and North Wales Coast, They appear to be complete with stock and activities...going to install them.
