    Amtrak announced on a youtube video that 6 engines will be painted for the 50th Anniversary

    The only Siemens Charger that I'm aware of is the payware from Toronto Mainline Trains. They aren't letting new customers register unfortunately

    It's about time Amtrak rolled out a Pepsi Can heritage unit. Such an underrated paint scheme.

    That model wouldn't be accurate anyway for Amtrak 301. They've only made SC44s and there are several shape changes between that and the ALC-42 (different nose, different fuel tank).

    Yeah I forgot that the Amtrak model will be different from what the states and commuter agencies are running

    I wish Amtrak a well-celebrated 50th anniversary. The day 1 ALC-42 was kind of an unexpected surprise. I kind of wanted Amtrak to use it again.
