Question Chessie System train symbols on Sandpatch during the 80s

I would like to do a ORTS timetable mode for the MLT Sandpatch route and while researching train symbol information for a few days I came up completely blank with not even a single solid number of trains that go over the route, let alone a list of train symbols. So I want to put the call out there to see if anyone has any information of train symbols over Sandpatch during the 80s, or at the very least a solid number of daily trains that I could work off of.

I don't have an answer for you but I put a post over on trainorders.com with your question. I'm sure they will have some answers, I will report back what I find

I've got a scheduled freight train service map of the entire B&O system that is dated Sept 1972. It covers train symbols, direction, timing of freight trains, and whether they worked the yard or blew right on through as they operated across the system. It does not include local freights, coal loads, empty hoppers or helper assignments.

Also, Don Phillips did a 2 part story on the WM in its death throws in the May/June 1980 issues of Trains that included one of those "Moment Maps" that Trains magazine was known for that show where all the WM trains were operating on the WM and B&O lines were located at 10 am on Fri July 16 1978. This included locals and what road power was assigned.

What I’ve gathered from Trainorders so far

CHTT BCTT SLTT (after St. Louis Line was severed I believe). PHTT BLTT. QCFL (Queen City Flyer)
    396 397 WI99(Willard 99) ESSP(Empire State Special) ALLY(Allegheny). Not sure on the rack trains.
    Chicagoan.
The Northeasterner, Saginaw 97, East Coast 96, Jessup 96, Toledo 99, Gateway 97 (after the StL Line closed), WC 97, Baltimorean and a Johnstown train in each direction. Also, if in the early 80's 80's, you would want a DJ-12/WJ-01 pair of N&W trains and grain extras, both Chessie and N&W. Coal trains to and from the S&C, and a Blue Lick turn to work the loader on the WM stub near Meyersdale from Keystone.
