    The issue with odd color of the units may have something to do with loading of .dds files.

    If you haven't been able to fix this issue, send me an email and I'll be glad to provide you with .ace files and instructions on how to make them work.

    It has been pointed out the DDS texture degrade with every edit... so you should always work from a master and only create a DDS for the model from a master document.

    I saw that a couple weeks ago with both the Trailer Train yellow lo-pac 2000 well car from the ATSF C40-8W set and the BN caboose from Scenic 2 (it came out green with blue ends!) when I upgraded the dds quality (to the 8,8,8 level) from dxt5 or 3 original for no additional degradation from the original. It went away when I kept it at dxt 3 or 5. But since then I also moved the weekly testing copy up to 331 from 312 (outright delete the testing folder, not updater upgrade, to get the updated manual) and I cannot re-create it again when I do the same manipulations that produced it the last time. So what OR build and nvidia driver are you at?

    I have made a set of texture files in ACE format. I also included instructions on how to make them work. The procedure is not complicated, but you are going to need to uncompress the shape file and change some texture extension names with a simple text editor.

    Hi Borislav. I downloaded the ace files, and followed instructions (used Shape File Manager to change texture extension names), but my units are still blue. I moved the ace files into the engine files from your original upload (3/28 was the original date, I believe). Should I have used your most recent upload (3/30)?

    Oh, my! This is not good. Both of my uploads (the earlier and the more recent version) are basically the same, so there is no need to download the more recent one. Something did occur to me now regarding this problem. I'll try something out and report here. I'll need your help, though, with testing. Ok?
