    Thank you.
I'll hold off updating until I complete a couple of Mullan Pass activities.

If I download the latest testing version of Open Rails, do I also need to install any additional monogame exe/framework or everything is included in the testing zip? New to the MG world

Monogame, while aligned with OR Unstable Version, is a different branch of the code. You will have to download the Monogame version from here >>> http://www.interazioni-educative.it/Downloads/index.php

I would also suggest reading the base Monogame thread at Elvas Tower -- which contains the above link, as well as other instructions about using ReShade, and information about Monogame.

See the most recent post by Carlo Santucci ( who is the OR developer that is developing the Monogame code ) Post#881 Page89.
    Cheers, Gerry

You don't have to download the OR-MG version.
The testing version from openrails.org is also based on the Monogame framework.
    See http://www.elvastower.com/forums/ind...tion-complete/

Unlike with XNA, there's no additional download of the Monogame framework needed.

With this provisio, reading the above thread all the way through:

Very good, thanks. Does this mean that all the Monogame features are now fully implemented in the latest Unstable version?

No. All this news means is that the testing and unstable versions are finally using the same graphics stack as that of the NewYear fork. This means you can use ReShade with them, and performance should also be slightly improved.

To be included in testing and unstable, individual features need to be separated from the NewYear fork and submitted for mainlining one at a time. However, this task is much easier now that both mainline and NewYear are running on Monogame.
