What Ever Happened to the MSTS BC Rail Route?

Almost a decade ago (last posts I see on it are from 2013), a team had still been developing a route covering BC Rail all the way from North Vancouver to Prince George. It seemed like the route was getting fairly far along, but of course it's hard to tell for sure from just a handful of screenshots.

Jean Brisson had been posting regular updates back then, but it appears he has been inactive since at least 2018. Is that route officially project dead as a doornail, with no chance of ever being released? If anyone happens to have contact info for Jean or anyone else who was part of that project, please PM me.

Wasn't this being done by some of the BCLW guys? If I recall correctly, they were also working on a 'Lower BC Mainland' route that included a lot of the CP and CN stuff west of Boston Bar.

I'd love to see these two resurrected some day in OR.

Yup, BCLW was the main team working on it. I definitely miss BCLW, used to be one of my favorite forums to hang out on many years ago.

And I believe you are correct on that Lower Mainland route - although, going off memory, that route never got as far along as the BCR route. Jean had several times made it sound like the BCR route was getting pretty close to completion.

Yeah, I've made a couple attempts to reach out to Jean. He's pretty much gone silent. His FB page hasn't been updated since 2019, nor has he been here or ET. I even checked the obituaries... No mention, so I'm guessing he's just moved onto other pursuits like his music and art.
