Route Completed (1 of 2 phases)
1st phase: 385 KMS of 653 KMS - high mountain area from Los Mochis to Creel - 6 months of intensive work, requiring additional skills for working with terrain, just pressing F to adjust tracks to terrain wouldn't work to create all tunels, bridges, loops, double and triple track levels just like Temoris area, but it was very interesting!
Los Mochis, Sinaloa

Creel, Chihuahua (State)

These week we are doing a full route testing,
Next year I will plan to continue with phase 2, Creel to Chihuahua (City),

Here at home, in the railroad mayhem capital of the world.
I have no words how amazing this is. It makes me very happy for all the community.
Very very impressive. I really hope this project sees the day of release. It is the probably the biggest project in the making to date.
It will put OR to the real test![]()
I really hope you finish this. It is, for sure, on my "Must Have" list.
Have fantastic day![]()
Thanks for the comments about the route,
The project is planned in two parts Mochis to Creel (385kms) having 80 tunnels of 88 total, (status: completed, Apr 2021 to Oct 2021), then Creel to Chihuahua (268kms) planned for 2022, total route length 653kms, (408miles)
For this route I have put special attention to create very specific details in bridges, tunnels, stations, terrain, towns, etc...
Due I am using Google maps for terrain I converted all terrtex to DDS reducing the size from 35GB to 10GBs,
The challenge was working with terrain to create the 80 tunnels, tunnel + bridge, loops, 3 levels of track close between each other, tunnels cutting the mountain as a wall, following the correct gradient of track according with the real terrain and according to route documentation, designing tunnel portals, bridges, bases, suports, and other specific stuff,
In real live the route is active, there is a passenger service operated by Ferromex
