Default An Idea For Microsoft Train Simulator Steam Edition

Hello everyone, today I came up with an idea, I know a lot of people struggle to make Microsoft Train Simulator work on newer computers that have new operation systems or don't have NIVIDIA cards. However my idea is that if Steam can develop their own version of MSTS, it would be helpful to all the fans of this awesome game. And make it accessible to be played from almost any computer. Please share your thoughts or let me know if you guys think this is a good idea

    Hello,

I really don't think Steam would even consider porting a 20 year old piece of junk buggy software. There is a MUCH better way!

    Have you heard of this?

I have never particularly cared for steam myself. Especially after I had files that I bought vanish never to be seen again after an update. MSTS and Open Rails suit me just fine.

I second Q-317's comment. After seeing all the whining on social media about Steam I don't want anything to do with it. I'm fine with ORTS + numerous free routes and trainsets + payware that is not that expensive and worth the $ like Trainsimulations products.

Just my $0.20 (adjusted for inflation)

Would rather not integrate with steam tyvm.
I fail to see the point of integrating MSTS with anything at this point anyway. Once you've used literally any other train sim there is no reason to go back to MSTS.

Kids have stuff on Steam, it's a mess.
ORMG w/ReShade, TSRE, all the routes and equipment and stuff are mine, not subject to some obtuse rule system that's to long to read.
I'm quite happy right where I am.
