Default New stuff in progress PennCentral

Thanks to Christopher Parker who passed on to me some official Penn Central documents, I have a new PennCentral font in progress (well, nearly completed actually). I figure I will release it to my website sometime this weekend.

For those interested, it has the full set of the large 5" italic lettering, the PC logo, in two modes so you can have the 2 color version. It also has simpler trackside signage lettering. As a bonus, it also has a legacy Pennsylvania Logo and the New York Central Logo (2 color).

So this is a heads up to keep an eye out for it.

I might post a sample image later, we will see.

i'd love to see what you could do next:
    Southern Pacific freight cars
    Union Pacific locomotives
    Union Pacific freight cars
    Amtrak coaches
    Great Northern freight cars
privately owned reefers from the 1940's-1970's
privately owned covered hoppers from the 1960's-2000's
short line railroads with stuff like per diem boxcars. (BMS, NHI, MNS, TASD, etc.)
Pacific Fruit Express/Western Fruit Express/Fruit Growers Express/American Refrigerator Transit reefers.
    Pennsylvania/Reading Seashore Lines

While freight would often have the italicized bold font, engines would often be numbered with a Helvetica type font. Engines numbers are not included.

    Thank you!
I think it is pretty cool making the font straight from the official documents.

TBH... it's the easiest way, as I'm just tracing with my vector pen tool without having to make up for distortions in photographs.
