    Default Tehachapi...

Looks like someone has beaten Marc Nelson to it, unless this is his version that has been adopted elsewhere.

I may give it a try but of course all eyes will be comparing it with the Run 8 version.

As much as i dislike R8 graphics. I prefer their creation of this.

As it is not just 68 miles of route, in isolation.

I agree, Mike. Their "Tehachapi" is a link in a long chain, not just a single piece.

    Thanks, Vern.
I wonder if Marc had a hand in this?

Thing is with TS it will be another A to B run in a pre-scripted scenario. No serving the industries as in Run 8. Graphically it will undoubtedly be superior but will they nail the physics? I foresee having to throttle back to Notch 3 on the hill to keep speed under 25 MPH, no risk of breaking couplings or stringlining the train.

It's been ages since I've even looked on Marcs website to see if he's done any recent updates on his route..... I hope he didn't abandon it and give it to those DTG bastards. The product goes from being a good route to that Samuel L. Jackson quote from Jurassic Park. "HOLD ON TO YOU BU..S!!" if he he turned it over to DTG. One thing is for sure. No Marc = no scalerail and that gad awful track DTG used both on Raton & Arizona Divide.

    Cheers, Mike. Thanks.

I'll probably buy it out of curiosity - for comparative purposes - but that would be the only reason.
