Amtrak #3 Southwest Chief Sept. 1995 Segment 7

This is the seventh segment of the 1995 Westbound Southwest Chief, "Back on the Transcon". We continue on the western leg of the Belen Cutoff wye onto the Gallup Sub and the ATSF southern transcon. Tonight on the Gallup we'll be running "left-hand", so you will cross over to the southern main after getting around the stack train you meet right as you joined the "Transcon". Maintain track speed as Eastbound traffic is waiting for you to clear. Again, the weather is clear, and the objective is to see if you can make up time on the schedule. The activity ends at the Winslow station stop.

For the route I used Bob Wirth's Gallup Sub. In this activity you're back on the southern transcon, so traffic picks up a bit.

Hey we can almost see CA. the end of the journey is almost in sight.

The next Segment is the Seligman Sub. For this one, I'm basically going to do it twice. Once for the Trainsimulations ATSF_Seligman payware release, and once for the Bob Wirth's Seligman sub available here in the library. I'll put both in the zip when I upload into the library.

The next segment is coming.... I've stepped away from rail simming for a little bit to work on one of my other hobbies. I do a synchronized light and music show in my front yard at christmas and halloween. I'm working on Halloween currently.

Segment 8 is started....I'm about 1/4 of the way through the Trainsimulations "ATSF Seligman" route with the Chief. I intend to do Bob Wirth's also but haven't started that one yet. Will let you guys know as things progress....
