Hi Travis,
I found one shape that the signal heads are not oriented correctly in your archive.
US2Signal2.s The signal heads are at angles instead of straight ahead down the tracks?
Maybe some of these earlier offerings would be able to be incorporated into this project?

MSTS Replacement Default Row Houses. A package of three generic row houses designed to replace and overwrite the default shapes "House1.s" to "House3.s" introduced in the original simulator, and used by countless authors in many other freeware routes over the years since. These houses were designed to match the size and orientation of the originals, but are built to modern MSTS standards to improve their overall appearance. All come with night and snow textures as well. Read the readme file for further details. Created by Ted Kocyla.

US2Signal2 and -3 are intended to represent old searchlights that were taken out of service and turned away from the track, since the original shapes were never functional anyway (all the functioning shapes of the US2 signal system are modeled in working order).
As for those other packs, I'll have to take a look and see whether that's allowed for
So. I did a quick mock-up of the ACTUAL size of the building... and yeah... size matters.

Guess I'll have to get back to it
So... yeah, the "Apartment" is more like a big 'downtown' office building.

This was my stab at barn1 I did a few weeks ago. Not sure about the roof texture, in particular, but there's still plenty of time to fix that
