CPAC 594, the Monterey & Salinas Valley heritage unit, leads CPAC 554, the last MSVR painted C44AC, on a baretable south along home rails as the duo starts their ascent of Cuesta Pass outside the sleepy little town of Santa Margarita.

Big thanks to all of the content creators out there, both payware and freeware, for keeping this hobby alive!

Very nice repaints, especially the "weathered" unit. Out of curiosity, what original model was used for these repaints? Thanks.

I don't think Watco will be dumping SD40-2s anytime soon.
Several of WSOR's 40s have been set aside for the new Fox Valley and Lake Superior startup. The 60s were put into service as those 40s were cycled out. The 60s are now the main power for the Chicago-Janesville-Horicon and back. The remaining 12 WAMX and 4 HLCX 40s will continue to hold down the local jobs in addition to the current GP38-2 and GP39-2 fleet. As of yet, none of the 60s have been repainted. Brody did us a good service by demonstrating a potential scheme.
