Spring of 2020 was an interesting one of the Vermont Rail System. With the partial collapse issue in the Hoosac Tunnel, on Pan Am Railways, NS and Pan Am used the Vermont Railway for detours. While regular freight of 11R/16R and EDRJ/RJED ran over the Vermont Railway B&R Sub and the Bellows Falls sub, the loaded and unloaded autorack trains of 27W/28N ran over the CLP Sub and Bellows Falls Sub.

Here, NS Train 27W with Conductor Thibodeau and Engineer Kelley, passes the lumber facility in Whitehall, NY heading east to Rutland, and eventually Bellows Falls.

Is the UP2002 available anywhere? Also, what route is this?

The "real" 2002 is still alive and well. Here it is in Kansas just a few days ago.up2002.jpg

i have not seen 2001 or 2002 on here or any website, so i did my own and the route is Rio Grande's Green River. I have Seen 2001 on a intermodal, but that was the only time i saw it.

Hi Folks,

Yep - that Chinook is cool. I remember watching something on the Military Channel - where the Apache gunship pilots were complaining they couldn’t keep up with the Chinook - gave me a chuckle - the badass gunships couldn’t keep up with the flying boxcar.
