    Default Dale's Sisku Route

I'm having trouble getting to Dale Richart's Sisku route site. Is anybody else having trouble? Is it still www.siskurail.org?

    Hi

I use this Route often and check the site for updates at least monthly,
Dale has put a lot of effort into this site and I hope it continues.

Perhaps the problem is a lack of feedback.

I only correspond when I have a problem, which is not often,
but I always get a reply.

    Cheers

There will no longer be any updates to this route as far as I know as there is not enough support and I am no longer a volunteer working with Dale on the route.

AJ, is there any way I can get hold of the latest revision before you and Dale shut it down?

We've seen this before in the train simming community.

It's a shame for the community to lose a nice WIP route, and a very great loss to lose access to SDTS DEM that is in his sole possession, but this is nothing new.

We've seen it before with others, and alas, we'll see it again.

I'm hoping Dale is taking a peek at this thread.

If so, Dale, thank you so much for your extensive and excellent work.

Thankfully I have the latest downloads from about the 24th July this year
so I can continue to enjoy the Route, Activities and your innovative Act details
    for Autopilot.

My apologies for not volunteering but my lack of technical skill and my
erratic work schedule was and is prohibitive.

But if you need something tested without urgency I am available, you have my
    email address.

    Regards

Dale made it pretty clear he didn't appreciate the feedback he was getting on Trainsim.com so he stopped posting here back in February.

Unfortunate, because it looked like a decent albeit ambitious project.

Fortunately, the route *IS* captured in the Wayback machine with an update from April of this year, and isn't lost forever.

Grab it now while you can. You never know when someone will try to delete the internet.

Any thoughts on finding the SDTS Terrain data?

    Thanks.
