    Unhappy Strange Occurrences on the Monon the Hoosier Line

    WHAT EVEN.jpg Right so I've noticed on certain sections of the Monon Hoosier Line, that there are random areas of land missing textures so it's just a sort of ballast texture. Certain roads are also missing. This Area is on the Penn Central Section of the Line at Monticello.

    Looks like one of the downloads is incomplete or messed up somehow.
    OpenRails will place an Openrails.log file on your desktop. This is where all of the info we need to troubleshoot your problem is located.
    You may have to enable logging by checking the "Logging" box on the opening Openrails screen. It should be enabled by default.
    If you can attach it to your post it'll help us help you. You will have to zip it to attach it.
    I've run the Monon for years and have never seen what you're experiencing. It's one of the best routes available.

    One thing jumps out at me:
    Video = NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (3.0 GB RAM) (nvlddmkm 30.0.14.7196)
    Video = Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 (1.0 GB RAM) (igdkmd64 27.20.100.8729)
    Display = \\.\DISPLAY1 (1920 x 1080, 32-bit, primary, 0 x 0)
    Sound = Realtek High Definition Audio (rtkvhd64 6.0.9049.1)
    Sound = Intel(R) Display Audio (intcdaud 10.27.0.9)
    Sound = NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) (nvvad64v 4.13.0.0)
    Disk = C: (Local Fixed Disk, NTFS, 237.7 GB, 40.1 GB free)
    Disk = D: (Local Fixed Disk, NTFS, 931.5 GB, 526.8 GB free)
    OS = Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0.19042)
    Runtimes = 2.0.50727 SP2 3.0 SP2 3.5 SP1 4 Client 4 Full 4.0 Client
    Runtime = 2.0.50727.9151 (32bit)
    \\.\DISPLAY1 = Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 (igdumdim32.dll 27.20.100.8729)
    The display appears to be using the on-board graphics chip and NOT as I assume you wanted, your GTX 1050.

    On the The Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor there is a Tablet. On it is written:
    "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
    the wretched refuse of your teeming shore, send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
    I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

    I think Vince is on to something here.

    The nVidia control panel has controls to set the video card to run when a certain program is invoked.

    You need to set the 1050 to run when open rails is run.

    That is not going to help at the moment.
