Of course I had a pretty good wreck due to poor trackage last night. The YouTube channel has been going live now for over a week and subscribers are way up which is nice. Emmett helped in fixing my Discord server. We are competing for the best design and operating railroad right now I have some catching up to do!

Anyways Scott make sure you double check the it is in Toronto, Ontario region. From what I understand Steam may reset to your original location once detected. Hopefully we'll be able to run and others are now invited in my signature below on Discord. Still have some work to do with that as well.

    Thanks

Sadly was too late to the RTSX-Server this afternoon. Anyways, just for the hell of it, checked my Steam / Download Settings, still at Canada-Toronto. Hopefully next time RTSX-Online we'll test / join.

A big thank you to the community and the team at Railroads Online that have made RTS relevant again. I would be happy enough with a new sim that is loads of fun. The RTS community as well as the Railroads Online community are very special. This has been an incredible week. As the team has said we haven't seen anything yet and I believe them.

Oct 3rd stands at 444 views. Tonight we had 16 people online watching live and already at 122 views. Yesterdays video already at 182 views double digit likes. 13 new subscbribers this week. I have not seen or felt this since the Run8 days. So once again thank-you!

    Thanks

Another big thanks to the suggestion that this was available. I'm going to be taking some time away from TrainSim again as there isn't as much interest. I'd like to focus more of my attention on both my communities and the discord community of Railroads Online! I can be reached at my signature links.

    Thanks

Link to operations on RTS. These are updated on a regular basis.

Google Sheet of operations and trains that can be run, automated from Minizerg map data below and updated daily.

Well the Discord stands at 10,000 unique members joined. There is an active community of not only servers, and users, but third party developers. I'm sure the mod guys can't wait for this to be available for Steam Workshop as well.

Minizwerg posted above is very cool as it allows you to map but also provided data for my RTS spreadsheet (which I've had help with this time around unlike the old Run8 RTS). Minizwerg also shows some not all of the 3rd party content creators in his links and this minimap function has gained popularity.

What's cool about it is not only does it give a minimap but it allows teleporation as of today, and also you can remotely control switches and locomotives which makes spotting and running the yards easy for few or single players. Of course this week we had a winter update with a caboose which has been fun to play around with.

Tonight in a session with a new RTS member and Macguyver we spotted oil at the oil fields and loaded them up with the pump systems unique to this industry. I ran the yard switcher while they ran a 2 man crew to switch out a few cars at a nearby industry.

What was cool is hearing their faint whistle in the distance as they would make moves about a KM away. Felt very realistic and authentic. For now the clients don't get as much range but I'm sure they will fix that eventually.

Nice time to be into train simulations again. Not burned out in the least.

    Thanks

    Sean
