Update 3.1 for the ORTS 2D Photorealistic Cab for Evolution Series Locomotives

Hi, guys!

I'd like to announce update 3.1 for my ORTS 2D Photorealistic Cab for Evolution Series Locomotives.

The update 3.1 will include:

- a redesigned computer screen layout with higher resolution details

- a new, easier way to manually add railroad reporting mark and locomotive identification number on the computer screen

- a functional RPM indicator

- a functional fuel indicator

- a functional distance counter with computer screen controls and a switchable computer screen

- several new nose versions

One thing that I would also like to add is an FXE version with computer screen information written in Spanish. I have a friend helping me with this, but I could really use additional help from someone who is well familiarised with FXE Evolution Series cabs.

The FXE version of the cab is almost complete. Right now, the acceleration is shown in miles per hour per minute instead of kilometers, but this may be changed before the final release, if the ORTS guys include this UoM:

Dear friends,

I am happy to inform you that the Update 3.1 has been finished and uploaded to the File Library. It will be available for download soon.

The Update 3.1 contains the following:

– a redesigned computer screen layout with screen indicators in higher resolution

– a new (easier) way to add/edit Reporting Marks and Locomotive Identification Numbers
visible on the computer screens

– a fully functional RPM indicator (digital and gauge)

– a fully functional fuel indicator (digital and gauge)

– a functional distance counter with distance counter controls

– a switchable computer screen

– Ferromex (FXE) cab version with localization in the Spanish language

– several new cab versions: CSXT Pride in Service units (3194, 1776 and 911), CP 8757 "Every Child Matters" unit and General Electric Blue Demonstrator unit

– a fix for the bug with Dynamic Brakes indicator being always visible on the computer screen

Please, refer to the Readme file before you proceed with the installation.
