Superb, as is usual for you, Phil.
But your creations are not the average - they are way above what most Trainz users do.

Phil’s work is an inspiration and one of the reasons I switched to doing model based routes in Trainz.
Let’s just hope TRS22 doesn’t break too much of it.

Is it against N3V law to be negative then ?
Like some fool on their forum said, criticism is fine as long as it is positive.
Sorry but the real world does not work like that. If someone is criticising something, then obviously they are not feeling positive about it.
Nothing wrong with model railway layouts in Trainz, as that is basically all it is good for.
N3V will never grasp the idea of prototypical realism, it is beyond what they envisage Trainz to be.

Yup i remember Bruce, the first release the loco and rolling stock wheels didn't even rotate.
Not knocking Phil, he enjoys what he does and is good at it.
Just does not interest me buddy.

The latter end of this thread has a possible ominous cloud looming over it:

At least the idea that TRS22 might be subscription only, i.e. no one off purchase either direct from N3V or usually a few months later off Steam. If that is the case, definitely no purchase from me.

I have been paying for gold membership.
But it was cancelled for good, after trying their last beta release.

More info now at the N3V forum. There will be a standalone version, i.e. not subscription, but you don’t even get the new version of Surveyor. So US$70 or around GBP£55 for not much of an upgrade at all.
