Default Should I bother finishing this?

I'll be honest... I'm not really motivated to do anything anymore... I've moved onto using LINUX as a desktop and that means I spend less time on OpenRails or anything Windows related.

So, I can still do Blender on Linux and that means I can create stuff... It doesn't even seem like there are many active people any more,

Just Blender now, 3DCrafter only when I have to.

Absolutely Pete! There are a lot of us around that do not have the creative abilities that you offer to the OR platform. I enjoy observing and or using your creations and contributions, you've been in and around this community for years don't leave us!

Sure Pete, that's a very well crafted piece of work...but of course, in a hobby you always have to follow your own path of enjoyment...best to you and thanks for all the wonderful work you provided for the community.

---side note: I've always been fascinated by LINUX ( having a gut reaction against microsoft os ) but I know that learning about it is more than I can do now.
    Cheers, Gerry

Stick around Pete! We cant afford to lose any more of us "Senior" people. It is often VERY frustrating when people who contribute dont' feel that their work or efforts are appreciated. BUT,THE PEOPLE THAT MATTER do!!! This pandemic situation, especially at this time of year has EVERYBODY down. I hope this helps. Brian

It's up to you, but it looks pretty good to me. Definitely something I would run. Always appreciate anyone still plugging away at stuff nowadays (and releasing it, lol!).

Absolutely would use that car for all my MOW needs. Anything still released is a good thing!
However, you do as you need for your own, and shouldn't worry about any of us!

    Hi Pete,

    Beautiful model.

You ever use CYGWIN ? Been using it for years and love it - I use it for all my "Bash" scripting needs on PC's. Other than a few quirks - you'd believe you're running a Linux/Unix system. I have tons of scripts to "process" files for TS - from route work to model work.

    Regards,
    Scott

    Hi Pete,

I would use this for my consist, but my question for you, is are you finishing up the USLX series boxcars, the CR transfer caboose upgrade or just now abandonware? Even the new autorack car that you just showed us, is that also come to fruition? Just had to ask, since I am interested in painting and detailing those cars for the community. maybe CR/PC (PRR) open coil cars?

    Thanks

I too have been waiting patiently for things you've had going, especially the USLX boxcars. If you want to drop those, I'll work on a texture for them. Anyway, I've always valued your work and still do.

But I too have slowed down quite a lot and I certainly make no expectations or judgements on what you want to do.

Great work as always Pete. Don't lose heart, I know a lot of us appreciate your work immensely, and it's always great to see more quality North American stuff come out.

So let me get this straight. You want to fly on a magic carpet, to see the king of the potato people... and plead with him for your freedom, and you're telling me you're completely sane?
