Default A new year, more repaints

    Boxcars and Gondolas so far.

I have some MRL gondolas I want to tackle, and maybe some more autoracks. I hope this package wont become as big as my previous, but we will see, considering the ultimate plan, is to use these packs for the MRL Mullan Pass when it comes to activities.

    Big thanks, Shawn!!
Funny, I was just thinking how I needed some new gons in my collection, with graffiti and dirt. These look great!!

    Neil,
Been seeing these particular cars on the Pan Am trains OT-1 in Maine, in fact, when we did the detours of Pan Am trains 11R and 16R over the Vermont Railway, we would have a handful of them mixed in, of dirty dirt heading west. So, of course, I needed them in the sim.

I went ahead and completed the rest of the herzog package I had planned to do. Originally was going to be a part of the recent uploads I did, however, these will be a standalone set. Total of fifteen cars. I haven't decided on adding a package of power to include with them yet. If I do, it may either be a set of which has been seen with this set in the past, or, random engines such as the CN ES44 repaint I did, with maybe two other random units of either UP, BNSF, or whichever.

Anyways, you can see the 15 head cars with the numbers I have done, on this forty-car train on the Dominion Atlantic.

The cars look real nice, Shawn. Like the weathering and added graffiti on some.

It's actually funny you said that, these herzog cars are all based on personal photos that I took of the cars sitting in storage. Originally they didn't plan a storm near me, but unfortunately people were starting to tag them pretty bad in Burlington.
Normally you can't get photos to line up correctly with certain cars produced by train simulations, however these worked out perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better end result.

I need to remember to release those CHUX gons soon. Otherwise, this is going to be a massive pack again that wont be released for who knows how long!

So.... I have done more boxcars. Always need more F plate 50' boxcars for paper service, as most mills are starting to step away from using the C plates, unless it's Wood Pulp service. Even then, they are starting to be rare compared to the F plates.

These are some, not all. Plan for this boxcar package is at least 35-40 total, mix variety of AOK, COER, LW, TR, UCRY, and much more.
