Yes, domestic containers are used within North America. The domestic containers are sized 45', 48', and 53'. Don't know what percentage of goods are shipped according to container sizes, and not sure if that information is available?

Overseas containers are usually 40', with some 20', and rarely 10'.

Heavy material, such as staging items, or large wire reels, can be found in 20' containers, as well as sometimes 40's containers with open tops.
Depends on the order and what's needed. Paper mills I would see a variety of 40' containers up into the 53' region, for shipment in the states, or overseas (40, 45)
