    Hi Jim,

Thanks - you've been around since my earliest forays into modeling.

    Always a pleasure - sir.

    Regards,
    Scott

Scott I still enjoy LHR #12, somethings never get old, unlike me.

I sure enjoyed that video, Scott! Especially the sound effects.

Used to have lunch after church every week within sight of that spot.

    Hi Jim,

Yeah - I’ve placed track a few times on Rich’s LHR from Hudson Yard to Martins Creek - while I can do it - I’m just not good at it. Track laying is probably my weakest skill - I just don’t have the patience for all the small track bits. Some day…

    Regards,
    Scott

    Hi Christopher,

Looks like a nice area - I need to swing up that way sometime. One part of the sound environment that’s really worth while is Erick’s freight car sounds - I like the cascading coupler slack effects as you start a train.

    Regards,
    Scott

    Hi Scott,
A little off topic but did you happen to see the train that hit the airplane here in my neck of the woods?

    Hi Jim,

Yeah - I had seen it but it's still absolutely incredible to watch. Kudo's to those police officers. As a pilot - my two hobbies intersected on that one - literally. One of my favorite aviation sayings - "once you have a problem - the plane belongs to the insurance company". Too many people have died trying to "save the plane".

Just luck that the police saw it go down. If it had been a 911 call for help it would have been to late.

Reminds me of the phrase "Aviate, Navigate, Communicate" saving the plane must be number 4..
Don't tell me the sky's the limit, when there's footsteps on the moon..
