Default Well The Long Awaited V3 is here

Run 8 is not vapourware but has quietly been working on a ton of new things for V3 of the sim you love. Just because you don't hear from someone everyday doesn't mean there gone.

Yes your V2 is compatible with V3 and AGAIN please READ the Changes and Upgrades.

Please read the Changes and upgrades and enjoy.

This is great stuff. I don't know whether it has been posted in response to our little prodding and probing but now there can be no doubt...

Oh BTW as it's a bit hidden on the R8 order page, price is US $50 or around £33 give or take current exchange rates. Very reasonable.

Looks like TSW2 will be getting a holiday for the next few weeks!

    Edit:
I just got a blank page as well (other than the letters def in the top corner) too. So I don't know whether the transaction has gone through. I'm sure I had this once before trying to buy one of the sub routes. Have sent an email as I don't want to keep trying and get charged multiple times.

I was quoted £37 when converting buddy.

Tried Chrome, tried Opera. No go for you as well Vern.

I got "def" in left top corner. if you refresh you get a duplicate request error on 3dts site.

So it's not just me, i have emailed as well.

It still would of been nice to know.

The feature list looks very impressive. Just read the nice extensive 8 page change log.

    Thanks

I'm glad about the new V3. On the other hand, I feel a bit of an idiot.

On the 22nd I bought the V2, since I have not read anywhere that the new V3 was coming out, otherwise I would have waited.

I've been saving these weeks to buy Run8 (my salary in Spain doesn't allow me to buy too many simulators or games), and now I find this version. I understand that someone who has had this version for months finds it worthwhile to buy V3, but in my case it would be spending 100USD in less than a week for the same simulator.

And the worst thing is that the improvements it has (AI in the dispatcher, rain,...) I love.

If any developer reads me, I don't ask for V3, but at least a discount. I haven't even played this week, just 30 minutes to try it out, I thought I'd enjoy this weekend.

I was thinking of buying the Bakersfield sub, the amtrak, in the following months, but now I don't know what to do with the old version.

The download link in the email doesn't work, at least not when I tried it. I copied and pasted the link on the transaction conformation page onto the address line of Chrome and got the download that way.
