i have 2 questions #1 when i convert tga to ace make ace just makes a file that has no format

Answer - Save as ACE (-trans), no ZLib compression.

my tga tools opens up make ace is there a way to disable this?

when i export as ace in tga it opens up makeace

There are two versions of TGATool. TGATool uses makeace, TGSTool2a uses aceit. Aceit is a utility that can be downloaded from the library here, and includes TGATool2a within the download.
