Tsre_v0.7.002.exe not working

Hello, I am having an issue with the TSRE5 Consist Editor. It opens to the input screen, but when "Load" at the bottom is clicked it does nothing, then says "Not Working" and eventually closes. I have Version 0.7.002 from the Koenig Site.
It was working fine before I had to do a purge on my desktop, now only the Route Editor portion works properly. There is certainly something amiss, with the one portion working and the other not.
After downloading this latest version, now I click on Consist Editor, the DOS Screen shows up (Says ....Conedit) but it now opens the Route Editor! How do I get it to point to the Consist Editor?? The Route Editor works as it should and opens and functions properly.
I really like the Consist Editor and would like to have it back.

Reinstall TSRE or try another version.

The most current version available is 7.012 and fixed some of the bugs found in the older versions. Released about two weeks ago.

I installed the most current version (7.012 of the Route editor). Is there a new version of the consist editor too? And if so, where can I find it? Thanks

Hi Steve,

It's in there - the Consist Editor is part of every TSRE executable. All you need to do is point a "shortcut" to the new version - like this:

"Y:\MSTS Tools\TSRE\TSRE5_v0.7.012.exe" --conedit

Finally got it to running when I installed it right. However, it loaded up to 35% then quit. Any ideas on what's happening? Did the same for all 3 of my MSTS installs (open rails).

Go to file location of the TSRE exe file and look for "log.txt" ... last entry will show where the loading stalled...that will give you a place to start troubleshooting.
