Default TS2022 Mt. Shasta route released.

Milepost Simulations' "Mt. Shasta Line" is now available and the few (about 8) reviews so far seem to applaud it....except for the recycled locos and 'stock - which are DTG's responsibility, not Milepost's.

It will be interesting to see how the Open Rails version compares when it is completed.

Thanks for the heads up Bruce. Only 108 miles though, not good particularly for an NA route.

No idea why a developer in the US has not done the same as JT did with the Paddington - Penzance route.

Release in sections, but then when completed the whole route is available.

There is a nice merge of Marias Pass & Montana Hi Line on Steam, which is a good 260 miles end to end.

Thanks for those links, Mike. I had the Montana Hi-Line but didn't know about the combined version. Ta!

I bought Mt. Shasta and Milepost have done a nice job. I'll download the updates and see how we go.

Hmmm....I grabbed the Shasta update zip file, installed it and all my tracks on that route disappeared!
So I've reinstalled the default and will leave it at that, I think.

    No, don't do that, Mike!

Maybe I misread the instructions provided by the guy who came up with the package - they weren't really clear as to whether they overwrite what's there or whatever. A little confusing....for me, anyway.
No matter....the route is fine without those enhancements. Just needs some really decent locos and not the models that are now rather old.

I really like the combined Marias and Hi-Line pack. Thumbs-up on that one.

Aaaaah! I thought that the pack included that stuff! Egg all over my face, in that case. I'll go and get 'em.*

I run a separate environmental enhancement pack....Reshade. It does some nice things, graphics-wise.
I have it on both TS2022 and TSW2.

    Some time later.......
*I did so and then realised that I needed to buy them and enter a registration number when installing.
So-o-o-o.....seeing that Marc has been incommunicado for some time, I aborted the exercise.

Supposed to put the egg in your mouth Bruce.

There are freeware versions of Scalerail buddy, says in the requirements free or pay versions.
