Been some time since I've touched my copy of ATS believe I had purchase 1 basic flatbed & 1 lowboy. Then set the preference for types of loads preferred for our Co. Myself I held off purchasing the very last tractor for myself, as I just kept hiring myself out to other Co.'s while my drivers kept the business afloat.

sadly my Co. can't afford all those fancy upgrades, like many we continue to wish. After many miles & wear & tear anyways, many customers won't take a chance shipping with us, others, thus be forced to replace the fleet over time. Hate to waste all that money on accessories just to turn in with next truck. I'm out of touch seems many yrs ago, my days .lol around about 7-10yrs & forget what the mileage would be, was time to think of another truck, for those that ship very long dist. would no longer take a chance shipping with ya no matter how well the fleet maintained. Anyways, both my paid drivers continue to keep the business afloat 1-garage, few supplies & enough to pay the bills seems realistic enough.

I use an economy cheat, Scott. Not interested in that side of the game.

Just driving the trucks and doing the deliveries.

    Understandable Mike.

I think would be neat perhaps one day ATS / ETS implement the ability to remove accessories before trading in our old truck/trailer(s) for new & retrofit our old parts to the new, saving some cash from time to time. seems somewhat real feeling. Anyways, I too enjoy the trucking side of the pc alongside the RRs. Lots of opportunities to daydream, get the creative juices flowing, shared with internet friends, least some internet friends, lol, I have to watch my back in that area when it comes to RLSS... lol.

Surely in need of several saloons / package stores for our drinking pleasures & not to forget the redlight districts for those of us truckers far from home feeling rather lonely. We need simulated broken marriages, kids gone astray, due to our long stretches away from family. Course we also need Jamie Lee Towing from Highway Thru Hell for accidents, tow to impound yds. What's really needed though, is "Bounty Hunters" for those that don't make their truck payments. "MP Repo-Sessions". What's a few broken kneecaps as well.

That all sounds right up Scott's alley with his scene building talent... is there a SDK to bring in RL objects into ATS?

Sadly none of my ideas creative juices be worthwhile anyways, now that robo-trucks starting to come into the picture. All of us ATS / ETS truckers be out of work soon. Good note though. Now we'll be able to fix those simulated broken marriages, kids will have both parents, Kids back in school & off the streets. next step of ATS / ETS Mcdonald's Simulator for our new PC employment. "Ah PC Life Is Good".

McDonalds is already automated more than the trucking industry.

I'm waiting for my free computer and money so I can stay at home and play ATS while my server goes 24/7. I do miss ATS, but only so much time and money I'm afraid.

    Thanks
