For existing customers that already have TS2022. Is DTG going to force this down our throats if we are online when it's released? Sure hope not...... But hey, maybe they fix the blueprint editor so the coupling matrix isn't a... backwards for the rear coupler that has been whack since 2012-2013.

I did further reading. It would appear existing customers with the current version or older have the option of upgrading or leaving things as is. But the fact they are going to "tinker" with things makes me nervous. What potential all new bugs and other assorted gremlins will sneak in on a online update after their release of the "classic" edition.

I don't think they've changed anything ''under the hood'' specifically, more like a new book cover and different title, but, still the same pages of the story, I just can't understand why they've done this in April, we've always had a new game version in September/October, has the commencement of the new tax year got anything to do with it, I wonder???

Just a name change as far as i can tell boys. Plus a change from Sept to April for an update every year.

Says it includes Tehachapi Pass route, didn't even know that route exists for TS20xx.

Apart from Marcs never finished beta release.

Tehachapi Pass was released on Steam by DTG last June, Mike. It doesn't have the same ground texturing and vegetation as Marc's route, nor, hundrerds of bespoke buildings and other assets, it's OK, nothing groundbreaking, a bit better now that the BNSF locos are branded.

I grabbed that Steve, not bad at 70 miles length. Better than most TSW2 US route lengths.

Scenery is 10 times better than R8, as well.
