Both supposed to be a small part of the Trans Siberian line.

Consider 2 Mojave Subs for the most part. The BNSF (MOJ) & The UPRR (MJ).
BNSF East-West (Hinkley thru to Sanborn) while UPRR North-South (Kern Jct. thru to Mojave/N. Ansel)
