--Keyboard commands are still bound to the simulator when an editable dialog box such as User Notes, train naming, saving, etc. are open (If you type 'wet vehicle' the avatar moves forward, the wipers turn on and the whistle blows). Additionally, when you attempt to reassign the up/down/left/rights key in the Keyboard Menu, the keys navigate away from the box, preventing the task.

--Otto still isn't lining LAC trains into Hobart Yard

--Wipers aren't clearing the engineer's glass on the SJVR gp40.

A couple of graphical oddities since the update, seen from the cabview (not external and not head-out) and not with the SD locos.

This first one is a perfect, dark, circle which moves randomly across the view, sometimes disappearing and then re-appearing.

The second is a dark, grainy blur just above the bottom edge of the screen and a shadow effect (covering the speed boards in this image).

Note that neither anomalies appear when using the CSX locos on A-Line/Waycross, only on the BNSF/UP units and it doesn't matter what time of the day it is.

I am experiencing the same dark blob Bruce describes.

CARS PICK SWITCHES AND DERAIL TOO OFTEN

I built and ran an 8300 foot train at 1.2 HPT yesterday for Q455 Waycross to Taft (5 big units up front the 5th was isolated). 3 times on this trip I picked a switch that caused a car to derail. I'm not sure what the likleyhood of this is in real life but it seemed a little too much.

    Thanks

The black sun is a reflection glitch in the shader when you're pointed in just the right direction, and is not specific to any particular route or region.

The second photo is the exact same thing, but seems bigger because the glitch is on a "rougher" part of the glass where there's dirt.

Either way, you're seeing the sun reflected below the horizon, and it's dark because the color sent to the shader is zero.

Continue to have this problem no matter what updates I have. Cars rock back and forth so violently it puts the train in emergency. I have video but it won’t let me post it here.

Have a look and see where your Seasick Multiplier is set at under Sim-Options and using the slide you can turn it up or down. I'm taking this is what might be happeneing as you gave very little information other than rocking back and forth.
