Would anyone know what version that Scale Rail Scale Road was in "after-msts-install-extras" that was released by Otto Wipfel awhile back?

A few more data points -

The Mullan installer deposits 3,156 ScaleRail and ScaleRoads shape files in the global folder for that OR installation.

The Sherman installer (latest version, with V 2 content) deposits 3,178 ScaleRail and ScaleRoads shape files in the global folder.

That should tell you the Mullan route installer, still available today, does provide a buyer with a complete set of ScaleRail and ScaleRoads shape files, albeit most have been modded for DDS redirect. The difference of just 22 files could constitute files built uniquely to Sherman or were new files related to the stillborn V2 material.

    That's helpful information.

Sherman should be done as a miniroute/standalone install. If I recall, the new ACE textures don't play well with older shapes.

Not discussing it further than I already have. I've got all the textures and installers for when the time comes.

Until then, the Montana Rail Link / Mullan Pass route at TrainSimulations has it for those who can't wait.

    Hi All,
It appears that the PRR_East_Reg-2 route download includes the shape files and several texture files for ScaleRail.
The readme states that no other addons are required. Unfortunately, ScaleRoad files are not included.

    Cheers,
    Ged

The PRR-East v2 was released with all files necessary to run as it was based on the Patch-07 version.

My 'upgrade' was fixing dynamic track and Track Database errors (hundreds!)

I I also replaced Altoona and ~10 track east with Ron Pikardi's fine rebuild with the correct track maps for the entire Altoona area via a tile swap.
I rebuilt the entire Philadelphia area. about 8 tiles worth with proper track from official PRR track maps. Some fudging was necessary as the Phil. Commuter Station platforms are in reality on different levels and has 6 tracks. I just went with the station that came in the route, four tracks.
I didn't add any shapes, just used what showed in the TSRE editor excepting the animated turntables shapes. Eight I think.

Scale Rail was present in the original distribution route in a couple of areas, New York Penn Station and some incompleted sections west of Altoona approaching Horseshoe Curve. There may be more in areas I didn't visit No idea about Scale Roads.

    regards,

Scalerail textures have a 2007 date
Scalerail 1.77 and Scaleroad 177 installer executables can have a 2010 date
Scalerail update 177a fixes for dummy sections have a 2015 date

Unfortunately, Otto's file has NewRoads and XTracks per what's on the forums here. Not Scalerail or Scaleroads...

i have a question for you. You say no scale rail or scale road is in Ottos release . So what does sr_ designation heading track in Ottos? My textures from Green River match up and also include the sr_ designation. Also the sr_ roads in Ottos package DO NOT all match up. SR_ for the roads do. tho
