    Mike --

That winter of '07. The Dispatcher, Chuck & Joe were working a narrow gauge line up in the High Sierra. It was the coldest winter in recorded history. It was so cold that when they tried to talk to each other the words froze in mid air and then had to be thawed out so that they could understand what had been said.

This video was taken a month after that record breaking week, when the temperature had climbed back up to 15 below:

    Hahahahahahaha, frozen words Phil.

Cool model layout buddy, you are really good at what you enjoy doing. I much prefer the hot Aussie routes, with hundreds of miles of track.

FootplatePhil's NSW route is one of my favourites.

I did very briefly fold and pre order the standard version, but changed my mind yesterday evening and cancelled. From the release notes it looks like being a clusterbomb of epic proportions. I have no faith that they will restore the save game any time soon either.

Hopefully if the latest Run 8 patch has addressed the jittery Joes going round curves I will get back into that.

TSW3 can once again wait for 50% off at Xmas or next Easter.

Don’t blame you Vern, I have not pre ordered either. It’s good to see dynamic weather and improved lighting but for me there is not enough to justify paying for an update to TSW2.

I will see what the initial feedback over the weekend and next week, if it is generally good I might concede and get one of the £30 single route packs, but it is really pointless without being able to save the game.

I'll wait until it's available for free like the original TSW. But judging how it's not on my hard drive any longer I may not even bother. I almost folded my thought process as well until someone talked some sense into me.

They are going to get the money marks who gobble this crap up. Good for them and if they like it good for them as well. They are not interested in what potential they have to bring what is a miniority of people who are looking for something a bit more serious.

    Thanks
