They were built in 1952, Mike, originally known as the E10 electric loco for passenger work, they then got renumbered to DB BR110, I think they've all but gone now on their railway system.

Thanks very much Steve, i just looked them up for a piccie reference. After reading your post buddy, not what i was thinking of. Which is the 103 with the rounded cab front, which is one of my favourites. But still a very pleasing looking loco, Steve.

The older German locos have a steering wheel regulator/throttle type handle you turn up to about 24 times, or, so, Vern, with the traction motor voltage display, similar to our AM electrics, and the tap changer is a dial. I remember driving the BR155 in TSW 1, which was quite enjoyable, better than the little stick throttles nowadays on newer electrics.

That's about the one thing that might make this worthwhile but I'm still jibbing at paying £30. DTG have had enough of my money this year.

Well I see the German route released with all sorts of issues, surprising as usually anything Maik Golz is involved with is generally good. Some frantic damage control being attempted by DTG, but too little, too late as far as I'm concerned. They want £30 for a 25 mile route, needs to be spot on.
