I know nothing about industries, or train tags i think it's called. Looked at the instructions once, but seemed way too difficult and like way to much work to bother. I just make a train and run end to end, when it's installed.

Gosh Mike, If I can setup the many features, you should have little trouble. lol. Am I detecting a little laziness?.

With this latest update & the usual "I Just Have To Know & Have It" grabbed my copy of RV. I really don't know what all the fuss is about trees being cardboard like, whatever it's called. I believe the looks of the entire setup much nicer, trees very realistic as well. I believe the looks of the operating world overall right up there alongside the SE. Honestly, I prefer the ops over looks anyways, the "Other Games" are for that "Prettiness". Leave the "OPs" for the pros if you will. Besides too much "Prettiness" comes at a cost pc wise. A nice balance of both worlds seems to fit well. hell, doesn't matter too much from my end anyways. How many of the Run8ers find themselves calling cats (that don't exist) at the edge of the Woodline & becoming "Stumped". "Here Pretty Kitty Kitty".

Too much information to take in Scott, i'm afraid. I have a world save or whatever it's called. That i downloaded from somewhere, called "Very Populated Socal v3". Which places a ton of AI on the route at the start. So that keeps me happy with a bit of passing scenery. Takes my mind off the cardboard trees, hahahahahahaha.

Yup looks and eye candy certainly are not everything, but MSTS quality trees in 2022 just do not cut it.

What's with all this cat's calling. Me no comprende hombre

and just think Mike if you want to get stuck in a loop never save that populated one and you can start again....automatic reset button and if you don't save it go to the Auto Saves World and grab the last timed one and save that for moving forward into a new realm....lol

I understand what you're saying Scott. The biggest price is obviously the hit on big routes for the graphics people would love to see. Personally I'm fine with Run8's visuals. I'm hoping at some point that a region is coming that is not as busy (class 1) with a few less industries.

That is probably not a popular wish and it's probably risky for a developer to be pefectly honest. Perhaps sweetened by a lower cost (but I would pay regular price for something like that). This weekend I've pushed Run8 as far as I can possibly push it to try and get the most out of single player from Waycross across both routes. The AI functions are a big reason why that might be possible. If it works it will be incredible and great for a small server. Basically I have 2 fake industries for almost every track in Waycross right now that has any kind of working in their system. One deals with loads and the other deals with empties.

Of course all of this is complicated on top of the big learning curve. I'm doing my best to explain it as best I can. But if you're going A to B and don't care then none of that will interest you or make your experience better.

    Thanks

Gosh Buddy, short memory banks? wasn't it not too long ago you thought was very funny the time I was looking for the cat going out of my skull, then, with my bad eyes spotted "Diesel" at the Woodline, after calling, talking to him for hrs., mozzied on over, only to discover had been talking to a stump half the day.

Sorry Scott no recollection of that at all buddy That's what 40mg of Citalopram a day, does to the mushy bits inside my skull.

Your kitties name is Diesel ? Well if you want to talk to a tree stump for half the day. I am certainly not going to hold it against you

What? 1 to 2 pills a day. Gag down 19 daily, along with injections twice daily.
Yes "Diesel" is the latest addition to the family alongside "Handsome Boy".
lol that tree stump turned out to be more than just cardboard.
Also failed to leap into my arms once I got there.

Anyways, sorry going off track here Mr. Moderator.
