CITALOPRAM I'm on 20mg of that not to mention all the seizure control medications. Citalopram doesn't screw me up though as I take it before I go to bed so I can sleep and not panic. It's the brain damage and the seizure control meds that screw up my memory. I know it's used for anxiety, anti-depressant, but also works as a sleep aid.

I wish I could get rid of all the other meds or not need it (as in have to get up to work the next day). But Citalopram is my favorite of all those meds. The rest I can't stand but I need my drivers license so I take the crap.

Yup spot on Sean, i sleep like a log. Just got to take what you have to buddy. I am retired so i don't have the problem of going to work. But i guess it must be a struggle, for you Sean.

Nah it's just sleep anxiety. The other meds are just a PITA for a condition that really doesn't warrant so much meds but are required to allow me to drive. Basically if off the meds I have nocternal seizures which take place about once every few years. Despite never having a seizure in the day I'm forced to continue to take these meds the rest of my life if I want to drive. The medication is supposed to stop the seizures from happening which I guess they do but I live alone so who the hell knows

A seizure every few years without the meds. It's not something to sniff at buddy. Better to take them, than take a chance. I guess the driving thing is purely a safety requirement. Need to set up a 24\7 vid camera to monitor yourself, Sean

Minor nocturnal seizures. I was off meds for years. I have a minor irregularity int he brain waves on my left side that can cause them.

I understand why the driving requirement thought it's a bit overprotective considering some of the clowns on the roads I see. Nothing I can really do about it until I have my cabin in the woods.

Yes what with the idiots driving under the influence of drink, drugs or both. Then there are just the plain incompetent people that shouldn't be driving at all. Does seem a bit unfair, but i guess it's an insurance thing and also protects your wellbeing.

You fancy a bit of solitude out in the wilderness, then Sean ?

It's a place where you own land, have some gardens if you wish, and harvest lots of trees. Off the grid or partially off the grid.
