Thread: Clocks & Times

    Default Clocks & Times

I've been noticing the last few days / weeks' time, when I post/reply etc., the times seem to be screwy here at TS.
Single Example: 0700 PM, not a time I know, lol. I've looked at my PCs' clock in comparison & the AM/PMs seem to be correct at this end. However still unclear if my end, for something has indeed changed all across the PC, as, I now am forced to type in my email / username, at times, both if I wish to get in anywhere, which was not the case so long ago.
Most days, sites would open just fine without having to type everything just to enter. Now even here at TS each time I visit forced reenter all credentials each time. Feeling rather overwhelmed / lost these days.

Update: I just noticed I posted looking at my PCs clock it says 1820hrs, while the TS say 0528PM lol. Guess not just happening with me for I looked at others here at TS they too have screwy times with 0xxPM.

Anyways I worry everyday of someone gaining entry to my PC, & worry more about myself spreading something virus wise to the outside world such as TS. If the case surely need to know, &, irradicate as quickly as possible if at all.

    Hi Scott,

Go to the bottom of any page ( here ) and see this string.

All times are GMT +10. The time now is 08:35 AM.

Is your time zone correct? I am in Australia so +10 is correct for me.
    Cheers

My end at the bottom of TS : GMT -5 / 05:41PM

soon as I see anything time wise with a "0" in front taught to be AM while anything 12 thru 2400 be PM looking at that time 05:41PM is a mix of both. lol

I just went into TS user settings as appears the original settings had reverted to TS defaults. I changed to the times for Eastern U.S. locations it's presently showing 07:00PM, which is still a mix of morning/afternoon, all it needs to do is drop the "0" to be read correctly, but, not a big deal as I still know the diff / correct time.

    Ok I see it now.

The board software has allocated 2 digits for the hour,
The board is set for 12 hour clock,

The board time in the afternoon will always show a lead zero.

This is an issue with the board software "Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.5"

The time at the bottom of the page is the time the page was opened. If you want current time you need to refresh the page.

I had indeed used the refresh at the top of screen prior, several time actually.
Anyways, not an inconvenience, worried more had missed, &, or, done an incorrect step.
I'll survive, long as I'm not spreading something virus wise throughout TS.
