    Default KCS Covered Hopper

Hoping that someone might be able to do a repaint for me. Any consideration is appreciated.

Looks nice Shawn. I know that the TS pack that I have came with 2 covered hopper cars, but not in this scheme.

The KCS package offered two cars to work with, which this shape file was closer to it than the other. There are several grain hoppers they offer, none of which are an exact match, so hopefully yourself and others are okay with this close enough job. I thought there was a freeware model that was exact match, but it appears I don't have many freeware grain cars on my computer anymore.

Yeah, I was aware of some shape-differences on this one. But, I'll tell you what Shawn, your "close enough job" is fine for me! Appreciate your efforts on this.

That is good to hear. I know some here like to scrutinize my work as well as myself if it's not done 100 percent perfect in their eyes.. So I often hesitate even posting what I do anymore.

    Hi Pete !

A modeler should never worry about what those " rivet counters " run their mouth about . The most annoying thing is that they, for the most part can't or don't model anyways . The good modelers understand and any criticism received from them is usually constructive and helpful . It's only the "bench racers " that make fools of themselves .
I say to those people -- " If it doesn't suit you then " you " make a better sample and let others inspect " your work " .
In other words " Put Up or shut Up " ---- simply that !
I've been around here for almost 19 years . I don't model but I've enjoyed the work of all the talented modelers that has been donated freely to the library here - haven't complained yet but sure have enjoyed the many locos , rolling stock , etc and routes there .

Thanx - To the Modelers - Much Appreciated .

I guess that's what I was getting at but not really getting there well.
Needless to say that's why I haven't really been doing a heck of a whole lot anymore... Too many critics outweighing those that actually appreciate it.
