Hi
I'm not an expert and have no direct knowledge of
this Route but I am interested in the route.
Which install file are you referring to??

It used to be my favourite place in the world.
The route is from 2003, I wonder if the builder is still around?
The instructions have no author. it's a BETA and 19 years old. Appears the author didn't follow up with it. If you got a unknown/invalid email message I'd speculate you're out of luck regarding the password. Many others have reported a invalid email.
I'm referring to centval1.zip, centval2.zip and centvalg.zip

Freeware requiring a password:
Even prior to my commercial years, I've just never understood the extremes some freeware content creators have gone to prevent their free items from being distributed and freely used by the community it was supposedly aimed at.
There is no potential for loss of profit due to piracy, for the item is not commercial, yet, there are such overly restrictive EULA's on so much freeware, that once the original author moves on (either in shifting interests or literally) it truly hurts the remaining (and dwindling) MSTS/OR enthusiasts that can no longer have any hope of access to their so-called "free" item.

It's my railroad and I'll do what I want! Historically accurate attitude of US Railroad Barons.
Forever, ridin' drag in railroad knowledge.
As a moderator, Sniper297 posted in his many wonderful stock and his
Chicago routes "freeware means just that, do anything you wat with it".
That is not verbatim, just a summary of his attitude...
I miss his "no nonsense" input in this forum

Yes, Sniper is sorely missed.
