I don't think I'm meager; maybe a mere mortal but not a meager (nor meagre) one.

Not my experience - back in the beginning when Run 8 had their own forum things got pretty bad, most of us ended up banned or terminated for the slightest perceived infraction (made RWA look like a picnic party).

However can't fault John G and the other Run 8 folk who have helped via email, or posted on here quite a few times to help out or acknowledge issues.

As regards TSW, well DTG staff do participate on their own forum which is... refreshing, though it does tend to be selective contributions and the hard questions generally get glossed over.

I hold the badge of honor being the very first member banned. I recall making an apology towards I believe his name was Diesel-Dave (RIP) & the R8 group server. Seems I recall the team at the time felt haven done so, made others look bad.

Oh I remember the forums which is exactly why I began to distance myself while trying to remain loyal to the team. When the team have been here every now and then they have been very helpful.

The issue is when you lose a central forum for your product, the buzz for the product dies. Only the fan boy forums keep the buzz up This is why speculations begin because when there is no information or updates we are left to our own devices.

Perhaps this is the reason why they don't tell us anything coming down the path now. Bottom line when you buy a product your buying a product that you expect to work, not expect to be updated. Just because it's been done in the past, we're 10 years+ in now. Now they should focus on DLC and get paid for all the foundation they have laid, while making minor changes along the way.

Don't know if that is what they are doing, but I suspect that is the plan or they're just enjoying life. Nothing wrong with that. They owe us nothing.

    Thanks

Actually let me correct myself they do sometimes tell you things are coming such as John mentioning update 5 not too long ago. Update 5 has now dropped and it looks like we have some more cars available.

    Thanks

I don't think I have been rude to anyone, unless you consider not getting what you want Rude, then I am guilty,
