    Default ed's trains

I ordered some loco's from ed's trains and some of the models have missing air tanks on the Fuel tanks on the side. I have emailed him to no response. Is he another 3dtrains rip off? I don't mind paying for people s hard work on making good models but, Ripping people off is just as bad as people that pirate the software. If He sees this I am not bashing him It would be nice to at least have the courtesy to respond. Thank you and I am not angry just hopeful I guess.

Models made for MSTS often needed to be broken up into two shape files in order to carry adequate details.

Models made for ORTS only are no longer made this way, and can result in 5x the typical poly count in one shape.

On a somewhat related note - I've purchased many sets from this vendor over the years, and have always enjoyed them and found them to be of high-quality. I check the site occasionally, but it's been a long time since any new product. Wondering if they're still in operation?

    Kev Head,

Did you use the email form at Contact Us (edstrainsonline.com) ?

If so did you also notice that there was a snail mail address and a phone number also listed? Have you tried those methods?

Dang, Charles, right on. Somehow the site I found this morning was devoted to N gauge and HO stuff, then I got a 404...should know better as I've purchased from ed quite a few times...Too early in the morning for me I guess.
