Default Any help would be appreciated.

I have been using the Consist editor for some time and I'm using the latest version 7.12, about a half an hour ago it stopped working, and when I look at the log file in the folder that holds the editor at the bottom the last line says this?

[E] qUncompress: Z_DATA_ERROR: Input data is corrupted

How do I fix this, as I really enjoy using this program.

    Thanks
    Tim

    Hi Tim,

Try the same operation with a different file. If the problem goes away the original file is corrupt. If the problem persists there is a problem with the editor.

    Hi Fred,
Thanks for reaching out, I have 2 folders one Canadian and one American, when I click on the Canadian one it works fine and when I click on the American one, that is the one that will not open?

What happened before the error? Post the last 5 lines of the log that may indicate what was read before the error.

Do you have any of the Trainset testing CEs such as ConBuilder or Convoi? Have you tested ALL the rolling stock in the American Trainset folder?

FYI the only compressed files that are supposed to be in a Trainset folder are Shape files therefore the error message is reporting a bad shape. Seeing what files were read prior to the error will point to which shape is bad.
