Nice one Vern, i just gave up on a tutorial on the coal (shorter) line with some modern loco.

Stalled just before a bridge and could not get the loaded coal consist moving.

I was already 28 mins late

I will have to try that one. We need the scenario editor swop out the Traxx thing for the solid EU07.

Heavy Coal with an electric, now that should get Bruce's attention!

This was very hard. 2000 ton coal train with one loco and steep terrain. But I somehow managed to get to the end.
but if it had rained it would never have gone

    Simrail seems pretty popular https://steamdb.info/app/1422130/graphs/
TSW has fewer players right now https://steamdb.info/app/1944790/graphs/

I'll wait until I see that they have actually provided a save feature, Mike.
I don't like their use of the words "probably" and "near future".....which reads too much like the infamous "Soon".

Yeah great with the EU07, Vern. It was Bruce that introduced me both to Trainz and the BVE Heavy Coal route.

Good days boys and Bruce i know SimRail is like 50,000 Aussie dollars. But come on buddy, live dangerously

Seems a bit contradictory re Save Game. From the comments that they are looking go get it enabled soon, there is another dev post on the official forum this morning now indicating it is unlikely!

Do these guys even have a plan or roadmap?!

Well my solution of finding a train in MP at the approximate location I left off seems to be working, if not ideal and I've now gone past the two hour refund window so will have to make the best if it.

Like you Vern I also just find a train in the area where I left one previously so not too bad.
I was in the Pendo a few miles behind you last night, as I was running early started getting yellows so had to pay attention.
I hope in the future if/when there is a proper single player mode that there would be a save option, I am enjoying it though and you can go in driver only servers if you don’t want humans signalling you.
