As of a few hours ago, Elvas Tower appears to have gone down at the server level.

Yup. The admins are aware of that.
That's great news. Thanks.
I really depend on ET for staying in contact with my V scale friends.

Elvas is up now.

Where is can people find those files and how
What is up with account restriction, he will not be able to download nothing. Donation button is gone and limitation are still in place after 50 posts as stated on on the site about all of this
So until these problems are solved, it is not really fair to send people to websites that host files, which user cannot download....
Or maybe i am not understanding account restrictions, and please explain to me and others what is the problem there...
Good luck mbooij.
The issue is band width. ET's file library are for members that contribute to the ET forums with on-topic posts, info, pics, etc, as well as share in helping others, as well as just being a quality member. THAT is who the ET File Library is for.
Without restrictions, the ET File Library becomes a drive-by downloading station for any and all don't give a sh*t about ET but instead just want the free stuff, so the band width charges go through the roof and the Admin is left holding the financial bag, so to speak.

One could of course purchase Mullan Pass and install it, then copy all of the scale rail and road shapes plus textures, then convert the textures to ace format for use in other route.
That might limit you to what has been used in the Mullan Pass route as opposed to the full set.
Beer is not a matter of life or death, it is much more serious than that.
Is there a way to convert a whole route from scale rail and roads to something else like xtracks?
sparkplug
You don't convert the textures from Mullen to ACE format, you need to leave them as DDS. What you should do is instead covert the ACE textures that come with the route to DDS using DTXbmp. so you can use the modified TS shapes. Not that hard, just a bit tedious.
I wrote this down earlier to help a few people who complained about "concrete track" (Track missing textures).
You will of course need DXTBMP - https://www.mwgfx.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm - Get the nessecarly DLLs here: https://mwgfx.co.uk/graphix.htm#Download
1. Navigate to the folder containing the textures you want to change.
2. Right Click on ACE file, and open with “DXT1 Bitmap Manipulator” (File Menu name for DXTBmp)
3. Do File – Save As – DDS Texture
4. When the dialog box appears, make sure it’s saved as a “DDS DXT3” texture. Make sure it’s the same name as the original ACE texture file, in the same folder.
For Scalerail and Scaleroads, update all textures starting with “SR_”
