Car ID Help
Now, I'll admit I only know the Basic types when It comes to Freight cars. This car I'm currently wondering about( no pic. atm ), resembles a longer PS-2 Covered Hopper ( but, I don't think It is ), & is 4-bay(?). Although gets Interchanged to & from NS here, I see It on ATN more in AL here. Any help & Who Builds(ilt) It/ them? Please & thanks.

American Car & Foundry (ACF) and Trinity Rail (TILX) both have 4-bay versions of hoppers. I've seen fertilizer trains on the BNSF with Trinity 6351 covered hoppers. If you need any photo references, the TrinityRail website has photos of their hoppers that they lease out to various railroads, such as NS and BNSF.

Well, these all seem to be Private Owners or Lease Owned( non-NS ), but I can see your point. I believe Paul Charland has @ least one Modeled in His AmPk11 for a Leaser(?). These aren't Trinity 6351 Covered Hoppers though. They're in-deed( even the number remains in service ) PS. http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPic...spx?id=1225932 but still only shows to be C214 type 4-Bay.

I believe those are PS style plastic pellet cars. As far as I know, Paul Charland is the only one that has produced those types.

Ok thanks( The Number He Chose as I said from His pack is still around too ). But, I noticed It & noticed I see Those types of cars pass by some of the time. I thought maybe they carried Feed Products too. Thanks.
