there is a couple of more meets...but hopefully those all work as designed....After the last stop before San Diego, you'll get to the "hill"...there will be a red signal but it has a "G" plate on the signal post indicating unless dispatcher tells you otherwise you may proceed at restricted speed (15-20 mph) until you reached the top of the hill. there will be a freight ahead of you...which you'll never see as it turns off the path at the top of the hill...Glad you made to San Juan....hopefully the rest of the journey proceeds ok...

    SUCCESS!

It was so nice to finally see and finish this Activity. wmuzeke had the solution, an OR Bug that needs to be addressed.

All meets were accomplished and AI's were moving when they were required to do so. A bit annoying that an activity has to be completed in one go, though, with no saves in between. I just find it awkward to not be able to do other things as they come up and then resume the Sim.

I'm glad that it worked out. Here is a link to the bug page where you can comment and hopefully raise the "bug heat" level. #1848878 AI train WP restart events don't work after save

Too bad, the route itself is no longer available isn't it?

Looking at the OP first post you will find this >>>
For the route it uses Surfliner 2.3 (again found here on Trainsim.com).
This route is still in the file library.

Although I've knew that months ago, I'm sure that you've referring the original FPM route.

I just want to make sure of something. Will this activity work on Jeff's Surfliner 2.3? I don't have the FPM route.

    Thanks

Larry, yes activity this thread is about is for the Surfliner 2-2 -- upgraded to 2-3.

AND for the noob --- As I said this thread and activity refers to Jeff Farquar's Surfliner 2-3 route. The activity is based upon an activity that was written for the defunct FPM surfliner route.

From the actual Amtrak 572 activity readme:

For the route I used Surfliner v2.3 Update. Surfliner 2.3 update requires Surfliner Route v2.2. This update further modifies scenery throughout the Surfliner route to add additional details and local landmarks. Route by Jeff Farquhar and Paul Peterson. Version 2.3 update by Brian Smolke. (available from the library on Trainsim.com)

Unofficially, we don't have anything supporting the FPM route on this site given its history.

The exception are some reskins that make use of either the FPM rolling stock or the 3DT versions, which are essentially one and the same.
