That was always the problem with the Russian/Ukraine stuff. Great models but everything in Cyrillic so you haven't got a clue what to do.

Still enjoying Run 8 but found myself splitting time last night with a bit of TSW. Switching industry spurs in the dark can get a little frustrating and at the end of the day you can't thrash a 31 or 45 in Run 8!

    Hi all,

Back on here (Couldnt get my old profile to work so made a new one) Simrail is catching my eye again as some on the DTG forum are aware I have thrown the towel in with their products. Been spending time in Zusi3 and DRS but this Simrail is something different. Thoughts please before I take the plunge or not....

There are plenty of thoughts already in this forum regarding SimRail.

After 10 mins on the prologue I'm glad I didn't splash the cash. 4 night shifts tends to rattle ones thought process....

Yes it is a shame Vern, because they do some good stuff in Eastern Europe. TSW never enters my head these days buddy, unless it gets mentioned on a forum. No interest at all. Run 8 very disappointed the last route, did not join the other SoCal routes. It's Trainz that always draws me back in and i do not have a clue why

Strange to relate Mike... We finally got round to buying a PS5 primarily for the missus to play stuff on. However couldn't resist adding TSW3 as it's on sale. Actually quite good, especially on the big 65" screen. Runs smoother than on my potato PC and the sound seems better too. Of course it's sill DTG with all the baggage and gameplay flaws but wife had to pry me off it so she could get a go on some weird Hogwarts RPG!

Nice one Vern, you heading ever more down the DTG road buddy. Do you have a sound system hooked up to the tv. If not you should be able to tweak the tv onboard sound, to make it even better. My main tv is an LG 55inch, which has all sorts of sound options. Some times it sounds like the movie or youtube sounds are coming from behind me and all around. Just on the internal tv speaker. Spooky sometimes, i hear something, think its the door or external noise. Mute the tv and the noise goes away

Now now, you leave Mrs M have some fun with that Hogwarts game

I found the novelty worr off fast, been playing on 64" LG OLED set up for gaming and even in 4k TSW4 starting grinding me down. Installed TSC for 10 mins last night before one go saw me uninstall from sheer boredom. Its DRS and Zusi only now for me unless something drastically changes in the house of DTG. I believe the Trenton route isn't well received either....

DRS is my first choice, but sadly with the scenery updates. This old shed of a pc, doesn't handle it very well.

TSW3 i will never buy, after having the first two versions. TSC i don't mind but never play it for very long, before it feels a bit jaded.
